Led by creative agency Potlatch, the challenge for A Night on Earth in Scotland was to create an entire campaign for the gifting season based on a single product. 

We worked with artist Erica Dorn to develop a film and a series of animations based on her artwork depicting Scottish New Year (Hogmanay). From her original design we were able to extract and develop unique assets for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, and Lunar New Year, giving each celebration its own unique colour scheme, style and elements, while assets specific to the new release were used to reinforce the visual style of the whole campaign.

For the global release film of A Night on Earth, we hand-crafted a whole world based on Erica’s work to create a 30-second piece that looks like animation at first glance but was actually painstakingly shot on set.
