For the second edition of The Macallan A Night on Earth collection, creative agency, Potlatch developed the packaging in collaboration with Nini Sum, a celebrated mixed-media artist from Shanghai. 

Pictoria was tasked with transforming Nini’s artwork into film and key visuals for the global release of the whisky. We chose to continue with the handcrafted production style used in the first A Night on Earth release, but this time complemented with more CGI shots to give the audience an immersive experience of the vibrant cityscapes present in Nini’s illustrations.

In the digital age, our production approach based around handmade, physical sets was a powerful way to showcase the artistry and craftsmanship that define Nini and The Macallan.
