Highland Park 56 is the oldest ever whisky release from Highland Park, the northernmost Scotch distillery in the world, located in the Orkney islands.
Project details
Led by the creative agency Potlatch, the 56 launch campaign sought to capture the remote magic of Orkney and celebrate the craftsmanship that led to the creation of this rare and remarkable whisky.
To produce the campaign hero film, Pictoria worked in collaboration with Sebastian Jern, a Swedish visual artist who specialises in combining handcrafted, highly detailed miniature sculptures with VFX and SFX to produce breathtaking, cinematic visuals.
Sebastian’s work is highly unique, as proven by his reach on social media. Reveling in creating objects and landscapes with minute attention to detail, his production approach was the perfect fit for a campaign celebrating rarity and craftsmanship.
Our team worked hand-in-hand with Sebastian to produce and edit the hero film, campaign key visual, and a series of film assets for social media. Working with composer Héctor Corley, we created a bespoke soundtrack that perfectly captured the magic of Orkney, while a behind-the-scenes film added even more value to the content and allowed the brand to leverage Sebastian’s social media reach for increased exposure.
By blurring the lines between the physical and the digital, Sebastian injects magic into traditional production processes and was the perfect partner for executing a rare, remote, and remarkable campaign.
