Discover a bold retelling of Moby Dick that defies limits—crafted without the letter 'e' to celebrate resilience and the power to rewrite our own stories.

Project details
Could you rewrite an entire novel without the letter ‘e’?
That is the extraordinary achievement of Moby Dick: Unlimited—a retelling of Herman Melville’s classic written without the most common letter in the alphabet to highlight how people with disabilities rewrite their own stories every day without believing in limits.
We worked with Madrid-based illustrator, Geber Luis, to bring this inspiring retelling to life. In charming, immersive detail, Geber’s digital illustrations depict Captain Ahab (now missing an arm, not a leg), the giant octopus (instead of a whale) Ahab is chasing, and the many other e-less characters and places in the story.
